We’re dropping like flies around here. Yesterday, two were cultured for Strep Throat. Tomorrow, I’ll head back to have the third little boy cultured. Bleck. But, a throat culture means you get a chocolate shake. So, they’re ok with it. Once it’s done, that is. We’ve had some hard times over the last couple of days. So hard that it almost feels like we’re under siege. I got an email from a friend reminding me there are times like this, when you know you’re doing right, that things do start to go wrong. And, you just have to stay the course. You have to stand strong.
FPD is doing fine, I think. He lost his cell phone on day two. So, we lost contact. He called today from the cell he purchased for us to use each time we go to Ghana. But, it took different credits than the ones he had bought. So, another two minute phone call today. It was long enough to say hi to GhanaGirl. She’s so happy with her dad. And, long enough to find out that the I-600 is filed and done. They told him he would know in 30 days. That’s great news!
He also told me that he is going to go and get GhanaGirl’s medical appointment done for her visa. I told him I could do it when I got there, he told me he would handle it. I told him it involved a stool sample. He told me no problem. I told you all, being in Ghana makes you not sweat the small stuff, even poop.
