Got it!!!

For those of you not familiar with Ch*na’s adoption process, this is the first of the two steps that need to be completed outside of the U.S.  LID stands for ‘Logged in Dossier’ and means that all our mountain of paperwork has been received and put into line for the next step.  Next, we need an ‘LOA’ or ‘Letter of Acceptance’ which grants us permission from China Doll’s homeland for her to be adopted.
Then, it’s back to the U.S. for the last few steps.  So far, the U.S. has been very helpful about getting her here.  We’ll hope that continues.  For now, I’m happy with this little bit of progress.  We’re currently 17 days into our wait for LOA.
–FullPlateMom,
who is feeling very excited today!
