It’s so hard to spend every day wondering if today will be the day.  Will today bring the paperwork we need to begin making travel preparations to bring our girlie home?  Friday wasn’t that day, which makes weekends feel exceedingly long.

On weekdays, I check my email about 40 times a day.  I’m constantly thinking about what time it is on the other side of the globe.  The day is just dawning on her side of the planet.  I pray the light of a new day, and a new week, will bring us the good news we’ve been waiting 40 days and 40 nights for.
