All photos on this blog are courtesy of a Nikon D3100 camera that has been gifted to the FullPlateFamily. I have always used a Nikon camera, but never properly. Thanks to some really great upgrades and some proper instruction, my pictures are so much more crisp and I can capture my baby’s faces so much better, before they are no longer babies.
We do exist!
Giggles took this pic, and when I posted it to FB, someone commented that this is probably just how our kids see us. We look pretty happy, and not too old, so I hope so.
I want to sat thank you to everyone who wrote, emailed or FB messaged me with words of support. I’m sorry if I haven’t answered everyone. I will. Y’all are amazing! As dorky as it might sound, this is why I love blogging, social networking and the internet in general. I write a lot about the haters, but there really are so few of them in comparison to people who send me messages like ‘I feel that way too!’ or ‘You just made me feel less alone,’ or just ‘I love you.’ I need that.
This is some lonely business without you.
I truly believe loneliness in the face of these bruises is what causes the tiny fractures that finally cause everything to fall apart. I know I’ve said this before, but if you’re parenting a child that you don’t think you can continue parenting for even one more day, please email me.
You’re not alone. I don’t judge. I’m not hear to tell you you’re wrong. Maybe you can’t do it anymore. Maybe you just need someone who understands your bruises.
who is feeling a little less bruised.
