She Probably Won’t Remember This.

We saw Poppy today!!! Live!!! In person!!! Pretty sure we didn’t make much of an impression though since this is what she did the whole time.

I tried so hard to avoid her nap time and we failed.  It took everything I had not to snatch her up.  She had a nanny sitting right next to her looking like I might be in physical danger if I tried it, so I refrained.  After all, I would leave and they would have one very cranky girl on their hands for the rest of the day.

Once we were done at Little Flower, we went back to the hotel, dropped off our stuff and headed out for some sightseeing.  DSC_0029

The Forbidden City is AMAZING.

Then it was on to Tiananmen Square.  Also amazing.

We made the mistake of WALKING to do it.  It was nearly 5 miles total.  ResponsiBoy made it there just fine, but on the way back, his jet lag kicked in and he got so tired.  So, we got a lot of this.

He’s never angry, just very serious when he’s tired.  He was tired.  I bought him a cheeseburger and fries at McDonalds.  The local food pledge didn’t even last a day.  He’s home sick.  I know he misses his brothers terribly, but pretty soon he’ll have a sister to keep him occupied.

Speaking of his little sister, we’re having a little trouble figuring out how she’ll get to the next city to actually be adopted.  So, if you could pray that there is someone available to bring her on Monday, that would be great.  ResponsiBoy, my dad and I leave tomorrow for Zhengzhou, where I REALLY hope to get to hold my girl the following day.

–FullPlateMom, who can hardly stand it.
