A Photo Shoot for TWO.

Yesterday was a lower key day.  We went to Universal Studios again, but there were no packed lunches, or plans, or mad dashes.  We rode some things, and while the other kids were snacking, Poppy and I broke away.  I haven’t really gotten to shoot photos of her since coming home.  She moves like a blur, and someone else is always jumping into the frame. There isn’t a moment when this girl isn’t being loved on.  I love that.  But sometimes, you just need photos with no photo bombers.  I took my chance today and found Diagon Alley to be the perfect backdrop.  I just let her wander, and I followed, shooting things from her point of view.

Today, she is two.  On a trip that has been nothing but non-stop activity, noise, and excitement, this was a few moments of peace, just her and I.  I love that.

  1. She is precious!!! Everything about her pictures says 2!!! I love that age and stage and I love how talented you are. I need to learn some photography skills.

  2. Bless you! Your kids are all beautiful. I would love to do what you gave done. I do have 2 adopted kids. They are Asian and I am Caucasian. I would love to adopt other kids but am the soul parent as my husband passed away 2years ago. I have so much love to give and know that being a mum is my purpose. Any advice you can offer?

    1. Hi Maggie,
Single moms CAN DEFINITELY adopt from China. Have you explored that option? Are you in the U.S.? You said ‘mum’, so I wasn’t sure. I have a friend in the U.K. who is adopting and might be able to lend insight. You can always email me and I will do my very best to help!
