Yesterday was a lower key day. We went to Universal Studios again, but there were no packed lunches, or plans, or mad dashes. We rode some things, and while the other kids were snacking, Poppy and I broke away. I haven’t really gotten to shoot photos of her since coming home. She moves like a blur, and someone else is always jumping into the frame. There isn’t a moment when this girl isn’t being loved on. I love that. But sometimes, you just need photos with no photo bombers. I took my chance today and found Diagon Alley to be the perfect backdrop. I just let her wander, and I followed, shooting things from her point of view.
Today, she is two. On a trip that has been nothing but non-stop activity, noise, and excitement, this was a few moments of peace, just her and I. I love that.
